Winston Medical Center offers services of a Nationally Certified Activities Director with PACE Certification.  Therapeutic and personalized activities are offered daily to enhance the quality of life of your loved on focusing on spiritual, physical, mental, and social activities.  Activity Therapy is commonly defined as a "curative process which brings about a positive change in an individual's physical, mental or emotional well-being".  Our staff works in large group, small group, and one to one settings to meet the needs of our residents functioning level. 

The Activity staff at Winston Medical Center plan daily activities to add joy, purpose and meaning to the lives of our residents. Our Activity Director plans a wide array of exciting and educational events throughout the year, ranging from health fairs to Fourth of July cookouts to family Christmas parties. The goal is to keep our residents socially engaged and provide their families the opportunity to feel at home with them and to allow families to celebrate with their loved one.
