Living on your own can be enjoyable and rewarding.  But sometimes you may be concerned about the possibility of a bad fall, an accident or sudden illness.  With On Call, Winston Medical Center’s emergency response system, you’ll feel more relaxed, secure and confident.

The system works through standard telephone lines to summon help in the event of an emergency.  The system is linked to Winston Medical Center, enabling the user to summon help 24 hours a day with the simple push of a button.

On Call users may keep their personal help button using either a neck chain, wrist strap or clipped to clothing.  A On Call communicator will be installed in your home to work with your telephone line.  This communicator will automatically dial for help when you push your personal help button, or the help button on the front of the communicator.  Once On Call personnel are alerted, they will immediately call your home to see what help you need.  If you cannot be reached, a responder will be dispatched to your home.
