Winston Medical Center Auxiliary recently donated $2000.00 to Winston Medical Center.  The ladies of the Auxiliary run the gift shop to raise monies that will be utilized to help purchase supplies and items for patients and residents.  This donation was given towards the purchase of new electronic doors that the hospital has recently had installed.
The Auxiliary has upgraded the gift shop with new items to include jewelry, gift items, balloons, teddy bears and so much more.  “We encourage everyone to come out to our gift shop and see what we have,” stated Mary Rose Moore, President.  “There is something for every occasion to include birthdays, Mother’s Day, wedding gifts, get well and thinking of you,” said Moore.  “It is a great feeling knowing that we are making a difference in the lives of our hometown hospital and nursing home,” Moore stated.
The WMC Auxiliary is always looking for individuals who wish to join!  If you are interested in working in the gift shop as a volunteer at Winston Medical Center call 779-5111.
