FBC Daycare and NW Kindergarten visit WMCNH for Halloween fun!

A troop of princesses, witches and ghosts pounced through the doors of WMC Nursing Home on Halloween Day to trick or treat with Residents.

The First Baptist Daycare and Nanih Waiya Kindergarten class were invited to bring children to WMC Nursing Home.   The children enjoyed trick or treating and then visited with the Residents. The real treat was when the children ended the visit by singing songs they have learned during the school year.

“We always appreciate our schools and daycares for coming and bringing their children as a part of our intergenerational activities,” said Tanya Whiddle, Activity Assistant.

“It really made my heart smile to see our Residents smiling and passing out the candy.  As the parade of costumed children and adults passed through the facility, the smiles and appreciation lasted all day for our Residents,”  stated Whiddle.
