Lauren Clark Wood, FNP joins the staff of Winston Medical Center

Winston Medical Center Wound Care Management is proud to announce that Lauren Clark Wood, FNP has joined the medical staff of Winston Medical Center.  She will treat patients in the Wound Care Management Clinic that will provide services in the outpatient department on Thursdays.

Lauren is no stranger to Winston County as she was born at Winston Medical Center and raised in Louisville. Her parents are John and Carol Clark.  She is the granddaughter of Ray and Peggy Ingram and Bobby and Charlene Clark, all of Louisville.  Lauren is married to Brandon Wood and they have one daughter, Kayden who is nine years old and one son, Ethan who is six years old.

Lauren a 2015 graduate of Sanford University where she graduated with honors in the Family Nurse Practitioner program.

Lauren comes to Winston Medical Center with three years of expertise in Wound Care Management Services.  She has worked at OCH Wound Care Center and is currently a co-owner of Unity Wound Services.

“I am very excited to be a part of the community that I call home and look forward to providing services to individuals in our community and surrounding area,” said Wood.

Winston Medical Center-Wound Care Management is for individuals who suffer from chronic wounds.  The Wound Center provides care for diabetic ulcers, non-healing surgical wounds, pressure and venous ulcers, bone infections and more.  Out team of professionals offer the latest treatment and technology for wounds that have resisted healing.  Our services include:  Infection Control, pain-reducing wound dressings, wound debridement, wound and edema management techniques, vacuum assisted wound closure, diabetic and nutritional education.

There is no doctor referral required.
