LOUISVILLE, MISSISSIPPI In observance of Hospital and Nursing Home Week, May 10 to 16, 2015 Winston Medical Center will host a week of events for staff and residents.
The WMC Nursing Home has special activities planned throughout the week for residents that are meant to encourage staff, residents, families and other close relatives to reach out to and visit with their loved ones and caregivers. In fact everyone can get into party mode because the American Health Care Association (AHCA) designated it as the week to “Bring on the Fiesta,” which is what we will do.
“Our staff wants to make this a special time of entertainment and education for all while focusing on bringing to life the week’s subtheme of Familia, Vida and Amor(Family, Life, Love)” said Lacey Vowell, Nursing Home Administrator. “This is a special time. We want everyone to celebrate with residents and patients, enjoying the crowds, the activities,and the feelings engendered by the theme.
