WMC provides CHNAs to community

COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE NEEDS ASSESSMENT AVAILABLE ONLINE
Winston Medical Center is committed to meeting the health needs of our community.  One of the ways that we strive to ensure we are fulfilling our commitment is by conducting an assessment of our communities health needs.
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act requires nonprofit hospitals to conduct Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs), and to make these reports accessible to the public.
Winston Medical Center conducted a community health needs assessment and sought input from the community.  Winston Medical Center is pleased to provide to our community the 2013 Community Health Needs Assessment on its website which may be viewed at www.winstonmedical.org
Conducting these assessments and making them available to the public meets our obligations under these new federal requirements. More than that, these assessments reflect Winston Medical Center’s commitment to working with people in our communities to identify and address the most urgent health needs in the communities we serve, stated Lee McCall, CEO.
